Tech tiles : programmable NFC stickers for Samsung's Galaxy phones


What is Samsung TecTile?Samsung TecTile is an app which lets you read and write TecTile NFC tags. You can create TecTiles to change settings on your phone, launch applications, check-in to places, update social status, or even make phone calls or send text messages automatically. Once you create a TecTile using the TecTile app, place the Tile in a convenient place, then tap your phone to the TecTile to perform the action stored in the TecTile.
by applying a tech tile tag for a specific usage ex. you have assigned alaram for a specific time in tec tiles application and yet not turn on it , but when ever you want to turn on this specific function you just need to run your NFC phone near that specific tag just then alaram is automatically turn on and activated for the specific time assigned earlier so much easy to start an alarm you just need set it one time in your tec tiles app , but its note that tec tiles are only works with phone which have NFC support .

 

For activaing tec tile for a function Use Samsung TecTile application, choose the type of tag you want to make and what you want it to do, then tap 'Next'. Once the app is ready to write the tag, hold the back of your phone on a TecTile tag and wait until your tag has been written. It will only take a couple of seconds. The right spot is near the middle of the back of your phone.
Then for reading tec tile you just not need to oppen the appicationd again Just unlock your phone and hold the back of your phone on a TecTile tag. You don't need to be in the Samsung TecTile app to read a TecTile tag.and also you can prevent your tag from further changing by locking it forever Lock TecTile’ checkbox before you write the tag. But be careful - when you do this, nobody can ever change that tag, not even you.
Kinds of tags you can make are the following 
  • Make a tag to set your phone up the way you like it when you get to work, or when you get in your car. You can even set an alarm time for a bedside tag. You can set individual settings, or combine settings to optimize your phone for your location - at home, at work, in the car, or other places.

you may not that TecTiles will not work near metal surfaces. If you've just purchased TecTiles, they will come in a metallic sleeve. You will need to remove the TecTiles from the metallic protective sleeve before you try to read or program your TecTiles. Also, verify that your phone is equipped with NFC technology and that NFC is turned on in your phone's settings.
